Perplexity Max and Enterprise Max

The tier that decides what your team can actually use.

Max and Enterprise Max are Perplexity’s top plans. They are what gives you Computer and Comet Assistant, along with unlimited Labs use and the newest models. Enterprise Max adds the security and administration controls a business needs before it rolls anything out.

check current plan terms

In plain terms

Buying the wrong tier is the most common Perplexity mistake.

Most of the capability people want sits above the entry plan.

Without it

  • Everyone gets the same plan regardless of need
  • The feature people asked for is on a higher tier
  • No single administrator view of who has what
  • Business data governed by a consumer agreement

With it

  • Seats matched to the work each person does
  • The people who need agents have the tier for it
  • Central administration, single sign-on and audit
  • Enterprise terms with data kept out of training

What CG TECH can do with Perplexity Max

Buy the tier the work needs, not the one on the front page.

Questions we hear a lot

Common questions about Perplexity Max

What is the difference between Pro, Max and Enterprise Max?

Pro covers everyday search and Spaces. Max adds the agent capability, including Computer and Comet Assistant, plus unlimited Labs use. Enterprise Max adds the business controls: central administration, single sign-on and enterprise data handling.

Do we need Max to use Computer?

Computer is available on the Max and Enterprise Max plans. That makes it a per-person decision, so it is worth identifying who will genuinely use it before buying broadly.

Is our data used to train models?

On the enterprise plans, no. Enterprise data is excluded from model training, and Perplexity holds SOC 2 Type II certification. If that matters to your security team, the enterprise tier is the one to be on.

Can we mix plans across the business?

Yes, and most businesses should. A small group doing research and drafting may need Max, while everyone else is well served by a lower tier. Paying the top rate for every seat is the usual overspend.

How does this compare with paying for Microsoft 365 Copilot?

They solve different problems. Copilot works inside your Microsoft 365 content and applications. Perplexity is stronger on open research and pulling from sources outside your tenant. Many businesses run both for different roles.

What happens if people do not use it?

That is the risk worth planning for. We run the first real use cases with the people who asked for the tool, and set a review point so unused seats can be reassigned rather than quietly renewed.

Do you resell Perplexity licences?

We advise on the plan mix and help you roll it out. Where you buy the licences is a separate question and we are happy for that to sit wherever suits you.

Can you help with a security review?

Yes. We put together what your security or risk team needs to assess: the data handling terms, the certifications, the administration controls, and what staff are and are not allowed to put into it.

Ready when you are

Not sure which Perplexity plan your team actually needs?

It is a quick conversation and it usually saves money. We map the work to the tiers and tell you where the entry plan is genuinely enough.
