Data & Analytics

Trusted data that decisions can stand on.

Trusted data foundations and reporting that give leaders the confidence to make calls, and the data quality to make AI safe later.

What we cover

Everything Data and Analytics covers.

Four offerings under one service. Take the one you need, or the full set.

Power BI dashboards

Reporting designed around the decisions leaders actually make, not just the data that happened to be available.

Data governance and classification

Ownership, classification and quality rules that make data safer to use and easier to find.

Microsoft Fabric and lakehouse

Modern data platforms set up so they scale with both reporting and AI workloads.

AI-ready data preparation

Cataloguing, cleansing and labelling that gets your data ready for agents and Copilot to read without surprises.

Customer Spotlight

A Microsoft Fabric proof of value for a national building services contractor

A national building services contractor wanted to see what Microsoft Fabric could do for their reporting before committing further. We provisioned a Fabric workspace, brought their data in and modelled it, and built reporting on top, with documentation so the team could carry it forward.

The outcome

A working Fabric pilot, fast

Data ingested and modelled cleanly

Reporting built on a modern platform

A proven base to roll out wider

Questions we hear a lot

Common questions about data and analytics

What is the difference between Power BI and Microsoft Fabric?

Power BI is the reporting and dashboard layer that people see. Microsoft Fabric is the wider data platform behind it, bringing storage, preparation and governance together in one place. Many businesses run Power BI on its own; Fabric adds value once data volume and complexity grow.

Do we need Microsoft Fabric?

Sometimes. Fabric and Power BI suit many Microsoft-based businesses, but we choose the approach to fit your data and your budget.

Why does data quality matter so much for AI?

AI and agents act on the data they are given. Feed them messy or conflicting data and they will produce answers that look confident but are wrong. Good data is what makes AI reliable.

How do you make our data ready for AI?

We bring your data together, fix quality issues and set clear definitions and access rules, often on Microsoft Fabric and Power BI. AI is only reliable on data that is accurate, well organised and governed, so this trusted foundation is what makes Copilot and agents give answers you can trust.

Why can we not trust our current reports?

Reports usually fail because data sits in scattered systems, is entered inconsistently, or the same number means different things in different places. We fix the source, automate the flow and agree one definition per measure, so everyone works from the same trusted number.

Can you fix our reporting without a big data project first?

Often we can improve reporting quickly while a longer foundation is built in parallel. We sequence the work so you see value early.

How do you keep our data secure?

We apply role-based access, row-level security and sensitivity labels, so people only see the data they should. This matters even more with AI-assisted reporting, because a dashboard or Copilot must never surface figures the viewer is not meant to see.

How long before we see useful dashboards?

A first, focused dashboard on a priority question usually lands within a few weeks. We start with one question leaders care about, prove the data, then widen coverage. Starting narrow is what makes early reporting both fast and trustworthy.
