This client is the local government for one of the fastest growing communities in South East Queensland.
The challenge
The property acquisition process was slow and complex, with delays and inaccuracies at each hand-off.
What we did
We mapped the process end to end, then automated it with Promapp, Nintex and SharePoint Online.
Property acquisitions crawled through a complex manual process. We mapped it, analysed it and automated it.
Why it mattered
Property acquisition involves many steps, several teams and a paper trail that has to hold up later. Done manually it is slow and inconsistent, and delays in acquisition have real consequences for council projects. Inaccuracies are worse: they surface late, when they are expensive to fix.
What we did
- Mapped the existing process. Documented how acquisition actually runs, end to end.
- Analysed where it stalls. Identified the inefficiencies and bottlenecks rather than guessing at them.
- Automated the workflow. Promapp for process documentation, Nintex Forms and Workflows for the process itself, integrated with SharePoint Online.
The difference it made
- Faster execution through the acquisition lifecycle.
- Consistent execution, so accuracy improves as a by-product.
- Real-time tracking and visibility in SharePoint Online.
- A documented process that can be improved rather than relearned.
The results
What City Council got
Acquisitions move faster
Automated workflows cut the effort at every step
Fewer errors
Each step now runs the same way every time
Progress visible in real time
Tracking in SharePoint keeps everyone accountable

Regional Council
Power Platform
Power Platform and Microsoft 365 had grown across seven environments with little governance.
We reviewed the whole setup and supported the changes to tighten security and control.
Outcomes
- Governance across 7 environments
- 1,400 monthly runs under control
- 200+ app launches a month
State Education Department
Identity + Automation
Assigning Microsoft licences at this state education department was a slow, manual job that struggled to keep up with growing staff numbers.
We automated licence assignment from HR data using Azure AD groups and PowerShell, starting with a proof of concept.
Outcomes
- Licences assigned automatically
- Lower admin overhead and cost
- Auditable, compliant process
Industry Ombudsman
Records365 + SharePoint
The client had no electronic records system, and the existing document platform could not co-author, control versions or search well across 93,000 documents.
We implemented Records365 over SharePoint Online and built a modern intranet alongside it.
Outcomes
- 93,000 documents under control
- Co-authoring at last
- A modern intranet
