This client is an industry ombudsman that gives consumers a free, independent way to resolve disputes with their essential-service providers.
The challenge
The client had no electronic records system, and the existing document platform could not co-author, control versions or search well across 93,000 documents.
What we did
We implemented Records365 over SharePoint Online and built a modern intranet alongside it.
We gave the client compliant records management and a modern intranet in one program.
What this involved
- Ran business, technical, process and records mapping workshops.
- Implemented Records365 as the records management layer.
- Built classification rules and integrated them with SharePoint Online.
- Migrated about 93,000 documents, around 100 GB.
- Built a modern intranet: news and policies up front, collaboration behind.
- Managed the project with weekly reporting through to close-out.
