This client is a large government department based in Melbourne with more than 10,000 employees, working across health and the public sector.
The challenge
Resources, courses and training materials were scattered, which made it hard for staff to find what they needed and hard to run training programs well.
What we did
We built a child protection hub in SharePoint Online, with access set by user tier so teams can manage their own sections.
Child protection resources and training sat in a fragmented system. We built one hub to hold them.
Why it mattered
Child protection material is the content staff most need to find quickly and be certain about. Spread across a fragmented system, it is slow to reach and hard to keep current, and inconsistent training is a real risk in this area rather than an administrative annoyance. The organisation also needed teams to maintain their own material without going through a central bottleneck.
What we did
- Built a child protection hub in SharePoint Online. Hosting courses, resources and training materials in one place.
- Configured access by user tier. Nominated users can build and manage their own sections of the hub.
- Designed it to grow. Structured so new programs and materials can be added without a rebuild.
The difference it made
- Resources centralised, so staff find what they need quickly.
- Training delivered consistently, with everyone working from the current version.
- Better collaboration through one shared platform rather than several.
- Teams owning their own sections, which keeps content current.
The results
What Government Child Protection Service got
Everything in one place
Resources and training materials centralised and quick to find
Training that runs consistently
Courses managed and delivered from a single hub
Room to grow
Teams own their own sections and can expand the hub without a rebuild

Industry Ombudsman
Records365 + SharePoint
The client had no electronic records system, and the existing document platform could not co-author, control versions or search well across 93,000 documents.
We implemented Records365 over SharePoint Online and built a modern intranet alongside it.
Outcomes
- 93,000 documents under control
- Co-authoring at last
- A modern intranet
Junior Adventures Group: Incident Management App
Power Apps
Incidents have to be logged and managed in line with duty of care across every branch. The legacy tool covered 10,000 children across 500 branches and could not stretch to the group's full footprint.
We rebuilt the app on Power Apps and SharePoint Online, automated the reporting and approvals with Power Automate, and designed it for staff who need it to work first time.
Outcomes
- Available wherever staff are
- Reports in one click
- Built to scale
Queensland Government Department: Data Governance
Microsoft Purview
The department needed to move document management and collaboration to SharePoint Online while meeting its governance and compliance obligations, and plan a clean migration off file shares.
We assessed their governance position, deployed Microsoft Purview, proved the design in their own tenant and handed over a costed roadmap.
Outcomes
- Retention that runs itself
- Sensitive data protected
- Audits without the scramble
