The client is a national insurance provider that serves customers across Australia.
The challenge
An unsupported SharePoint 2010 setup was a security risk and held back HR and Payroll.
What we did
We moved this insurance provider to SharePoint Online and rebuilt the key forms and approvals in Power Platform.
An unsupported SharePoint 2010 environment was a security risk and a handbrake on HR and Payroll. We moved them to SharePoint Online and rebuilt the workflows.
Why it mattered
Running an unsupported platform is a risk that grows quietly until it does not. Beyond the security exposure, HR and Payroll were stuck with manual forms and workflows that could not be improved because the platform underneath them was frozen in place. Any change meant working around the system rather than with it.
What we did
- Assessed what was actually there. Discovery across the SharePoint 2010 environment before planning anything.
- Planned the migration properly. A detailed path to SharePoint Online and the Power Platform, with critical workflows and forms rebuilt rather than lifted across.
- Sorted the archive. An archive strategy so historical content had somewhere sensible to go.
- Staged the rollout. Implementation focused on improving processes as they moved, with training alongside.
The difference it made
- Return on investment came through in six months rather than the two years originally expected.
- Sensitive data protected on a supported, current platform.
- HR and Payroll processes improved as they moved, not just relocated.
- Consistency for employees across the business, wherever they work.
- A digital workspace that can keep developing instead of standing still.
The results
What Insurance Provider got
Payback in six months, not two years
The expected return arrived four times faster
Sensitive HR data better protected
Unsupported SharePoint 2010 risks closed out
One setup for staff worldwide
Rebuilt workflows run the same in every region

ECH: Making Employee Recognition Easier with Power Platform
Power Platform
Running the staff awards by hand took real coordination, and the process was hard to see into.
We built the ME Awards on the Power Platform, with nominations, voting and results in one connected experience.
Outcomes
- Less manual administration
- A simpler employee experience
- Greater transparency
Junior Adventures Group: Incident Management App
Power Apps
Incidents have to be logged and managed in line with duty of care across every branch. The legacy tool covered 10,000 children across 500 branches and could not stretch to the group's full footprint.
We rebuilt the app on Power Apps and SharePoint Online, automated the reporting and approvals with Power Automate, and designed it for staff who need it to work first time.
Outcomes
- Available wherever staff are
- Reports in one click
- Built to scale

Records365 + SharePoint
The client had no electronic records system, and the existing document platform could not co-author, control versions or search well across 93,000 documents.
We implemented Records365 over SharePoint Online and built a modern intranet alongside it.
Outcomes
- 93,000 documents under control
- Co-authoring at last
- A modern intranet
