Governance and Fabric
The Ombudsman needed to move data management to the cloud while meeting state requirements on security, retention and destruction.
We developed governance policy aligned to state requirements, ran a security gap analysis, stood up a Microsoft Fabric workspace and mapped the path to Purview for classification and data loss prevention.

Their Dynamics 365 environment held more than 650 tables of project, loan and portfolio data, and every report meant rebuilding logic by hand.
We built a Microsoft Fabric platform that stages the data from raw to reporting-ready, preserves record history, and feeds Power BI dashboards covering the whole investment pipeline.

Yes. For a Commonwealth Government financier we turned more than 650 Dynamics 365 tables into a governed reporting platform without changing how staff use the CRM.
We need to see how things looked at earlier points in time. Is that possible?
Yes, if the platform is designed for it. We preserve record history as versions, so you can examine a pipeline or portfolio as it stood, not just as it is today.
How do you handle security and retention requirements?
They shape the design. For the a state ombudsman we developed governance policy aligned to state requirements and ran a security gap analysis before any data moved.

Yes. Access is controlled and logged, which for most agencies matters as much as the numbers themselves. We design that in rather than adding it afterwards.
What if different areas define the same measure differently?
That has to be settled by the business before it is built, or the platform will reproduce the disagreement faster. Getting the definitions agreed is often the most valuable part of the work.
