- SharePoint 2019, Microsoft 365 hybrid

This client is a Queensland cement manufacturer producing bulk and bagged cement products for the construction industry across Queensland and northern New South Wales.
The challenge
The client needed a modern, secure place to work and share documents.
What we did
We set up a SharePoint environment with an intranet, people directory and document libraries.
The client had no modern, secure home for the documents their teams worked from. We built the environment and handed it over documented.
Why it mattered
Their existing system was outdated and could not integrate with Office 365, which meant collaboration and document management were both harder than they needed to be. For a manufacturer, that is time lost in the office that should be going into production. They also needed the result to be maintainable by their own IT team rather than dependent on us.
What we did
- Built a new SharePoint 2019 server farm. Two servers configured across services, security and integrations, with rigorous testing before go-live.
- Developed the intranet. A home page, a searchable people directory and structured document libraries with version control.
- Migrated 2 TB of content. Across eight team sites.
- Documented everything. As-built documentation with architecture diagrams, configuration records and user guides, plus a formal handover.
The difference it made
- Communication and document sharing across departments through one platform.
- Hybrid integration with Office 365, so the environment works with the cloud tools they already have.
- Cost savings from reduced reliance on outdated systems and lower maintenance overhead.
- An IT team able to maintain and extend the environment themselves.

8 team sites set up
A new farm across 2 servers, tested end to end
2 TB moved across
Documents brought into one secure environment

Records365 + SharePoint

We implemented Records365 over SharePoint Online and built a modern intranet alongside it.
Outcomes
- 93,000 documents under control
- Co-authoring at last
- A modern intranet
