Digital Workplace

A modern Microsoft 365 environment people actually want to use.

Modern Microsoft 365, SharePoint and Teams environments your people actually want to use, built with information architecture that holds up over time.

What we cover

Everything the Digital Workplace covers.

Four offerings under one service. Take the one you need, or the full set.

SharePoint intranets

Information architecture, governance and visual design for intranets that people open by choice, not by mandate. We also build document management systems on the same platform.

Teams governance

Templates, lifecycle rules and access policy that keep Teams useful as the organisation grows.

Microsoft 365 modernisation

Upgrades, migrations and rationalisation across the M365 stack, with adoption planned in from the start. We run migrations with ShareGate.

Information architecture and adoption

Findability, ownership and search built into the design so knowledge stops getting lost.

A new SharePoint intranet for a Queensland cement manufacturer

a Queensland cement manufacturer needed a proper intranet to bring their teams and content together. We stood up a SharePoint environment, built the intranet, and migrated their existing content across, with clear documentation so their team could run it themselves.

The outcome

A single home for teams and content

8 team sites brought into one place

2 TB of content migrated cleanly

Documented so the team can run it

Questions we hear a lot

Common questions about the digital workplace

What is a digital workplace?

A digital workplace is the set of connected tools people use to do their work, such as Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint and a company intranet. We design digital workplaces that are tidy and easy to use, so staff can find information and work together without friction.

We already have Microsoft 365. Why do we need help?

Having the licences is not the same as getting value from them. We fix the setup: structure, permissions, intranet and Teams, so people can find what they need and it is safe to run.

What is the difference between SharePoint, Teams and OneDrive?

OneDrive is your own files, SharePoint is the team files and intranet, and Teams is the conversation that sits on top of SharePoint. In Microsoft 365 they share the same storage, but the difference still matters for how you structure and govern content.

Can you fix our existing intranet rather than start again?

Often, yes. We assess what you have first and keep what works. A rebuild is a recommendation, not a default.

How do you keep our information secure and easy to find?

We set a clear structure with naming, metadata, permissions and lifecycle rules, then apply Microsoft 365 controls for access and data protection. Good structure is what makes content both findable for people and safe for tools like Copilot to use.

What does Copilot-ready mean?

Copilot is only as good as the content and permissions behind it. Copilot-ready means your information is well structured and properly governed, so Copilot gives useful answers without exposing the wrong files.

Can staff use Microsoft Copilot once this is done?

Yes. Once permissions and content are in good order, Copilot is safe to switch on and far more useful, because it only surfaces what a person is already allowed to see. Tidying the ground first is what stops Copilot exposing the wrong files.

How long does a SharePoint or intranet project take?

It depends on the scope, but we start with the highest-value area and deliver it first rather than trying to do everything at once. Most teams see a usable improvement in weeks, with wider rollout and governance following in a planned way.
