The waiting room is full and so is the inbox
We build automation and AI for Australian health providers, with privacy and safety built in. Scheduling, referrals, notes and billing get lighter, and clinicians get their day back.
Care has gone digital. The paperwork came too.
Scheduling, referrals, clinical notes, billing and reporting sit around every appointment. Each manual step adds delay, risk and after-hours catch-up for clinicians and admin staff.
Automation and AI can now take the first pass, from appointment reminders to draft notes and claims. Australian GPs already use AI scribes in everyday consults, and adoption is growing quickly.
- Draft notes and letters written by AI, signed off by clinicians
- Scheduling, reminders and referrals that run themselves
- Billing, claims and reporting without the after-hours catch-up
Start with the admin around every appointment
Most practices and providers begin with one flow, like reminders or referrals. Each service can be delivered on its own, with privacy built in.

What good looks like
Medical Technology Company
Microsoft 365
The client had disjointed tools and no central governance.
We moved them from Google Workspace to Microsoft 365 and built a SharePoint intranet, with governance and training.
Outcomes
- One connected workplace
- Stronger security and governance
- A modern intranet for staff
Medical Research Institute
Microsoft Purview
The client needed stronger data governance and better use of Microsoft 365.
We reviewed their data loss controls in Purview and built a training plan for staff.
Outcomes
- Stronger data protection
- Clearer view of data risks
- Staff using Microsoft 365 well
Pharmaceutical Company
Power BI
The client’s Power BI reports needed more speed, clearer visuals and a shared home so teams could work from the same numbers.
We rebuilt the reports in a shared workspace, tuned them for speed and redesigned the visuals for both leaders and analysts.
Outcomes
- Faster, easier-to-read dashboards
- One shared source for reporting
- Clearer insight for decisions
Industry Ombudsman
Records365 + SharePoint
The client had no electronic records system, and the existing document platform could not co-author, control versions or search well across 93,000 documents.
We implemented Records365 over SharePoint Online and built a modern intranet alongside it.
Outcomes
- 93,000 documents under control
- Co-authoring at last
- A modern intranet
City Council
Nintex + SharePoint
The property acquisition process was slow and complex, with delays and inaccuracies at each hand-off.
We mapped the process end to end, then automated it with Promapp, Nintex and SharePoint Online.
Outcomes
- Acquisitions move faster
- Fewer errors
- Progress visible in real time
Early Learning Peak Body
Power Pages
A new funding model required two-way data exchanges between every kindergarten, the governing body and Queensland Treasury, and there was no portal to handle it.
We built a portal in Power Pages as the one-stop shop for submissions, documents and live funding data.
Outcomes
- One portal for 38 kindergartens
- Funding visible in real time
- Secure, accurate exchanges
Chemical Manufacturer
Microsoft 365
Microsoft Teams and SharePoint Online had been enabled but the team was not using them, and there was no governance around either.
We reviewed the setup, designed a best practice approach and set a phased roadmap for adoption.
Outcomes
- 500+ orphan documents found
- Idle Teams cleaned up
- A clear path to adoption
Ports Operator: AI Scheduling Agent
Microsoft Copilot
Staff extracted shipment scheduling data from email attachments and websites manually, so reporting ran late and sources never quite lined up.
We built an AI agent that reads the attachments and websites itself, files the data and flags changes to stakeholders.
Outcomes
- Schedules gathered automatically
- One source of truth
- Changes flagged as they happen
Outside School Hours Care Provider: Voice AI Agent
Copilot Studio
Directors spent much of each day answering policy calls from centre managers, covering everything from incident reporting to child safety rules. Answers varied between people, and many frontline staff speak English as a second language.
We built a voice-enabled AI agent, grounded only in the client’s policies, that answers first so Directors do not have to.
Outcomes
- Directors freed from routine calls
- Consistent answers every time
- Inclusive for bilingual staff
Retirement Living Operator
Microsoft Fabric
Their reporting was manual and split across separate apps, each with its own licence.
We built one Microsoft Fabric platform, modelled the data and set up Power BI, with training to extend it.
Outcomes
- One platform, many sources
- Clean, reliable data
- Team trained to build on it
Safe by design
Controls we build in
- Secure handling of patient data
- Least-privilege access
- Supports clinicians, does not replace them
- Full audit trail
- Human sign-off on key steps
Questions we hear most
What does CG TECH do for health providers?
We build automation and AI for Australian health providers, with privacy and safety built in. Scheduling, referrals, notes and billing get lighter, so clinicians get their day back.
Where does AI help health care operations most?
Usually in scheduling, referrals, patient communications, documentation and billing, where manual handling adds delay and errors. The clinical work stays with clinicians; the admin around it gets faster.
Can AI reduce the time clinicians spend on documentation?
Yes. AI can prepare drafts of notes, letters and referrals from your approved sources for a clinician to review and finish, which gives time back to patients while keeping the clinician accountable for the record.
Is patient data safe with AI automation?
Yes. Patient information stays in your own environment under your access controls, with Australian data residency, and is never used to train public models.
Do you comply with Australian health privacy rules?
We design to them. Solutions are built around the Privacy Act and the health records rules that apply in your state, with least-privilege access and audit logs, and your privacy officer can review the design before anything goes live.
Do you support clinicians or replace them?
We support them. We automate admin and keep a person in the loop on anything that affects care. Clinical judgement is never delegated to software.
Can automation work with our clinical or practice systems?
Yes. We build around your current clinical, practice management and Microsoft 365 systems rather than replacing them.
How do you keep AI output safe and accurate?
We ground answers in your approved sources, log every step and keep a clinician or manager reviewing the result before it matters. If something is uncertain, it goes to a person.
How long does a first project take to deliver?
A focused first project is usually a few weeks, delivered at a fixed scope with a known price, so you see a measurable result before going wider.
