Where Anthropic fits.
Long documents, careful writing, dependable production agents, and in our experience the strongest coding agent available. Claude also runs inside Microsoft Foundry, so it fits a Microsoft estate.
Where it does not.
If you need image generation or telephony style voice, OpenAI’s stack is stronger. If value means AI inside Microsoft 365 for every employee, start with Copilot. You get one honest recommendation, not a default.

What does CG TECH do with Anthropic and Claude?
We design, build and run Claude solutions for Australian organisations: rolling out Claude Team or Claude for Enterprise across a business, building production agents on the Claude Agent SDK, and connecting Claude to your systems through MCP. Claude is the model family we reach for when the work needs long context, careful reasoning and dependable agents.
We are a Microsoft house. Can we still use Claude?
Yes. Claude models are generally available inside Microsoft Foundry, appear as a model option in Microsoft 365 Copilot, and the Claude apps run happily alongside Microsoft 365.
Is our data used to train Claude?
No. On Team and Enterprise plans, and through the API, your data is not used to train Anthropic's models by default.
What is MCP and why does it matter?
The Model Context Protocol is an open standard for connecting AI to your systems. Build a connection once and reuse it across tools and vendors, instead of one off integrations that rot.
Claude Code sounds like a developer tool. What about the rest of the business?
Claude covers that too. Claude Cowork brings the same agentic approach to everyday knowledge work, and Claude for Enterprise covers Code and Cowork under one agreement.
Do you work with mid-sized businesses?
Yes. Our sweet spot is Australian organisations of roughly <strong>50 to 500 seats</strong>, including not-for-profits and government suppliers of that size.
When would you recommend Claude over another model?
When the job involves long documents, careful reasoning or an agent that has to stay reliable over many steps. For work that lives inside Word, Excel and Outlook, Microsoft 365 Copilot is usually the better fit. We are not loyal to one vendor and will say which suits the job.
Which Claude plan should we start on?
Team if you have five or more people and want a shared, administered workspace. Enterprise when single sign on, provisioning and audit logging become the blockers. Starting on Team and moving up later is a perfectly sensible path.
