Common questions about getting started

What does CG TECH mean by challenges?

These are the business problems we get asked to fix most often, grouped so you can start from the problem rather than the product. Most teams do not need more tools. They need the slow, manual and risky parts of the work sorted.

Where should we start if we have several problems?

With the one that costs the most time or money and follows clear rules. A short readiness assessment ranks your options so you start where the payback is clearest.

Do you fix problems, or sell platforms?

We fix problems. The platform is whatever suits the job. We are technology-agnostic and outcome-focused.

Do you work with businesses our size?

Yes. We work with small and mid-sized businesses and public sector teams of 50 to 500 staff.

How long does a first piece of work usually take?

It depends on the problem, but we scope the first piece so it lands in weeks rather than quarters. Anything that cannot show a result in that time is usually too big a first step.

What if our problem is not on this list?

Tell us anyway. These pages are the problems we see most, not the limit of what we do. If it is slow, manual or risky, it is worth a conversation.

Do we need to fix our data before anything else?

Not always. Some problems can be fixed straight away, others depend on the data being in order first. We tell you which one you are looking at before you commit to anything.

What does the first conversation involve?

A short call where you describe the problem and we ask questions. You leave with an honest read on whether it is worth fixing now, what it would take, and whether we are the right people for it.
